Ivy Day · 2026–27 cycle

Ivy Day 2027

Ivy Day is the evening all eight Ivy League colleges release Regular Decision at the same hour. The eight agree on one date, announce it together in March, and every portal opens that evening — 7 p.m. Eastern in every cycle on record. It is the last big date of the season, and for most applicants it's the one that ends the waiting.

Ivy Day 2027: not announced yet

Expected Late March 2027

The Ivies announce the date in March, usually a week or two ahead. The last five cycles it has landed on a Thursday in the last week of March — March 26 in 2026, March 27 in 2025, March 28 in 2024. The hour hasn't moved either: 7 p.m. Eastern every cycle in the table below.

This is an expected date, not an announced one. The moment the eight colleges publish the date, it changes to announced here with the announcement linked. Last cycle's Ivy Day was March 26, 2026 (Thursday).

Every Ivy Day on record

The dates the eight Ivies actually released, cycle by cycle. A cycle is named for the fall applications were filed: decisions that posted in March 2026 belong to the 2025–26 cycle.

The Ivy Day colleges

The eight release Regular Decision on the same evening; their early rounds are their own. Each page below has that college's early dates and its full release history.

Around Ivy Day

Ivy Day is one evening in a season that runs from December to early April. The season calendar lays out every round of every college here month by month, and just released tracks what comes out day by day once March starts.

Your applicant portal is always the final word — an announced date is when the college says it will post, and the portal is where it actually posts.
