Rolling admission
Dates marked announced come from the college itself, with the announcement linked. Dates marked expected rest on the evidence named right next to the date — that college's own release history or the timeline its admissions office publishes — and the label switches to announced only when the college says so.
Rolling admission
Rolling admission isn't announced yet — expect January 2027. Pitt reviews applications as they arrive and answers roughly six to eight weeks after a file is complete, so an application in by the December 1 scholarship priority date usually gets an answer in January.

Decisions post to the applicant portal, not your inbox — the email just says the portal updated. Check yours at admissions.pitt.edu.

Pitt has no application deadline at all. It reads files from August onward and answers throughout the year, so there is no release day to wait for — applying earlier means hearing earlier.
